What should I do if I am running late to an assignment?

Contact the school site and the Substitute Office and let them know. They will  absolutely assist you on how to proceed.


Should I pick up an assignment if it has already started?

Yes! The school site would love for you to show up, even if the school day has already started. Please make sure to call the school after you have picked up the assignment, and let them know you are on your way.

How do I stay on the Substitute List  every year?

Substitutes have to work a minimum 12 days per semester, and 36 times in the entire year to be eligible to stay on the Substitute List. If you do not feel like you can make the 36 days, please contact the Substitute Office.  An Annual Update Form and  Reasonable Assurance Letter are sent out to  those  during the summer to those who meet the 36 day requirement.
